1Go to console.firebase.google.com → Add project (name it anything, e.g. homebase) → disable Google Analytics → Create project

2In the left sidebar: Build → Firestore Database → Create database → choose Start in test mode → pick any region → Enable

3Click the ⚙️ gear icon → Project settings → scroll to "Your apps" → click </> Web → register app (any name) → copy the firebaseConfig block

4Paste the config below and click Connect. Share the same HTML file + config with your wife — both of you will see updates instantly!
